Tewdws, Kings of Dyfed

(Latin: Theodosius; English: Theodose)

Tewdos was the eldest son of King Rhain of Dyfed & Brycheniog. In the mid-8th century, he inherited the Kingdom of Dyfed, while his brother, Tewdwr, took on Brycheiniog. Tewdws was eventually succeeded by his son, Maredudd, and then his grandson, Owain.

Records of King Tewdws date back to the 13th century. He is generally considered historic.
